Today in unit one i had to take a test online, the test which i did was a personality test, we had to answer the questions saying if we strongly disagreed, disagreed, neither, agreed or strongly agreed. i then had to answer about where i was from and what education i was in and if i had a job. Then after i had filled the test out i then had to submit my answers and then my results were shown on the screen. I think the results which i was given were right as it told me that i prefer traditional experiences, and that i am shy. After the test i had to print out my results to put into my folder. I then made a start on task five after reading what i had to do.

Today in unit 1 i wrote about the screen-shot which i had taken of the online communication test which i did, then after that i also finished writing about planning my personal development and wrote about what i want to be doing in two years time and about which course i would like to carry on studying at university and also about which university i would prefer to go to. After i had done this i started to read about what i had to do on task 5. At the start of the lesson i had to write about all of the things in unit 1 which i need for next lesson, this is so i know what i still need to do and what i have finished.

today in ICT i have been doing unit 1. In unit one today i had to print out some of the tasks which i had finished and which needed adding to my unit 1 folder, after i had printed these off and added them to my folder, i then had to finish off some tasks which i had not completed. The tasks which i had not completed were the learning styles task, on this task i had to write about my learning styles and then i printed it off to put with my other work. Then i carried on with my planning my personal development task which i have not yet finished.

Today in unit 1 i was given a new checklist of things which need completing on certain tasks, this checklist told me that i need to complete task five, i also need to finish writing up about my study buddy which i chose to write about as part of the presentation task. I also had to finish off my development plan and the learning styles work. I decided to finish of writing about my development plan, i had to answer questions which were on a sheet and write about what i would like to do when i leave college and start university, i also had to write about what skills i would like to improve on and also what skills i have been learning in ICT, i have now nearly finished writing about my personal development plan, then i can finish my other work before moving onto task five.

Today in unit 1 I had to complete a spreadsheet where i had to answer different questions about the learning styles. After i had finished answering the questions i had to print screen the bottom of the spreadsheet where it told me my results which i had on the questions. Then i paste the print screen into Microsoft word and then i have to write about the four different learning styles, i am going to carry on finding out and writing about these styles in my next unit 1 lesson.

Today in unit 1, I finished off writing about my study buddy Rebecca's powerpoint presentation about how ICT can help people to overcome communication barriers. After i had finished writing about my findings i then started a new task which is task 8 and is called 'plan your personal development' this is where i have to write about all different things such as if i am going to go to university, which job i would like when i have left college and also what overall grades i would like after i have completed my BTEC National. Last friday i took the key skills test as park of a task which i had to do for unit one, after i had completed the test i then had to print it out so that it could go into my unit one folder.

This week in ict i have been finishing off different pieces of work for different units. I also made the layout for my website. In unit 1 i had to listen to my study buddies present their presentation and also write about what how i thought they did when presenting the presentation and also what i thought the presentation was like overall, i also had to present my own presentation to my study buddies while they wrote about it. After i had presented my presentation i had to print it off, and then i had to print the rest of my work off which i had not printed off already. I then had to finish off my mind map about what employers want.

Last week in ICT i was given corrections which i had to make to my spreadsheets, then i carried on work which i had not finished off in each lesson. I then carried on with my new task which i had started in programming. Today in unit 1 i have started to make the presentation which has to be 3 minutes long, this presentation needs to be finished for next week this is because we have to present it to the class and also show out powerpoint. When we present the presentation out study budies will have to right about us.

In unit 1 this week I have been catching up on some work and also adding more to some of the tasks which need to be printed off and put into my folder soon. In unit 21 last Thursday I finished off the rest of my storyboards for the website which I will be designing, I have done two different storyboards this way I then have a choice of which one I would like to use when I come to design the website., In programming on Thursday we started a new task, we talked about the task which we had to do and wrote down what we needed to know, I then started on the task 6 using the information which I had written down in my book. We have not done alot of work so far as we have just come back after christmas. Last week we were only in on the Monday and Thursday as college was shut due to snow. So this week i will be catching up on work that needs to be finiched off.
